Welcome to InnerHeal. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("user", "you", or "your") and InnerHeal ("we", "us", or "our") regarding your use of the InnerHeal mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service").
Please read these Terms carefully before using InnerHeal. By downloading, accessing, or using InnerHeal, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our AI/ML Data Sharing Policy.
If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use InnerHeal and uninstall the application immediately.
1. Overview of InnerHeal
1.1 What InnerHeal Is
InnerHeal is a digital wellness companion application designed to support your mental and emotional well-being. Our features include:
• Mood Tracking: Log your daily emotional states and receive AI-powered insights
• AI-Guided Journaling: Reflective writing with personalized prompts
• AI Chat Assistant: An empathetic conversational companion for reflection and grounding
• Self-Assessments: Quizzes and check-ins to understand your wellness patterns
• Breathing & Mindfulness: Guided relaxation and meditation exercises
• Habit Tracking: Monitor sleep, hydration, and other wellness habits
• Daily Affirmations & Quotes: Personalized motivational content
• Community Center: Optional, moderated space for anonymous sharing
• Resource Library: Educational content on mental wellness topics

InnerHeal is NOT a substitute for professional mental health care. Our AI assistant and features are for general wellness support only.
InnerHeal is NOT equipped to handle mental health emergencies. If you are in crisis, please contact emergency services or a mental health crisis line immediately.
InnerHeal does NOT create a therapist-patient relationship. Using our Service does not establish any professional healthcare relationship.

2. Eligibility
2.1 Age Requirements
To use InnerHeal:
• You must be at least 13 years of age
• If you are between 13-17 years old, you must have parental or guardian consent to use the Service
• We recommend parental supervision for users under 18
2.2 Capacity
By using InnerHeal, you represent that:
• You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms
• You are not prohibited from using the Service under applicable laws
• You will comply with these Terms and all applicable laws
2.3 Account Accuracy
You agree to:
• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Update your information to keep it accurate and complete
• Not misrepresent your identity or age
• Not create accounts for others without their permission
3. Account Registration and Security
3.1 Account Creation
You may create an InnerHeal account using:
• Email and Password: Create credentials directly with us
• Sign in with Apple: Use your Apple ID for authentication
• Sign in with Google: Use your Google account for authentication
3.2 Account Security
You are responsible for:
• Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Immediately notifying us of any unauthorized use of your account
• Using a strong, unique password (if using email registration)
We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account credentials.
3.3 Account Restrictions
You agree NOT to:
• Share your account credentials with others
• Create multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions
• Use another person's account without permission
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Sell, transfer, or assign your account
3.4 Third-Party Authentication
When you use Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google:
• You authorize us to access the information those services provide
• Your use of those services is subject to their respective terms
• We are not responsible for those third-party services
4. Use of the Service
4.1 License Grant
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:
• Download and install InnerHeal on your personal devices
• Access and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial purposes
4.2 Acceptable Use
You agree to use InnerHeal only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree NOT to:
Harmful Conduct:
• Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• Harass, abuse, threaten, or intimidate others
• Post content that is defamatory, obscene, or offensive
• Promote violence, discrimination, or hatred
• Engage in bullying or targeting of other users
Service Integrity:
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Introduce viruses, malware, or other harmful code
• Circumvent security features or access controls
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
Misuse:
• Use the Service in ways that could damage our reputation
• Misuse AI features to generate harmful content
• Use bots, scripts, or automated tools without permission
• Scrape or collect user data without authorization
• Resell or commercialize any aspect of the Service
4.3 Community Guidelines
If you use community features, you must:
• Be respectful and supportive of other users
• Not share personally identifying information about others
• Not post spam, advertisements, or promotional content
• Report content that violates these guidelines
• Remember that posts may be moderated
5. AI Features and Limitations
5.1 Nature of AI Content
InnerHeal uses artificial intelligence to power various features. You understand and agree that:
• AI is not human. AI responses are generated by computer algorithms, not mental health professionals.
• AI has limitations. Responses may be inaccurate, inappropriate, or not suited to your specific situation.
• AI cannot diagnose. AI features do not provide medical or psychological diagnoses.
• AI cannot treat. AI is not a form of therapy or treatment.
5.2 AI Disclaimer
THE AI FEATURES IN INNERHEAL ARE PROVIDED FOR GENERAL WELLNESS AND EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THEY SHOULD NOT BE RELIED UPON FOR MEDICAL DECISIONS OR AS A SUBSTITUTE FOR PROFESSIONAL CARE.
5.3 Safety Measures
We implement safety measures including:
• Content filters to prevent harmful responses
• Crisis detection with appropriate resource referrals
• Moderation of community content
• Regular review and improvement of AI systems
However, no system is perfect. If you receive an inappropriate response, please report it to support@innerheal.app.
5.4 Your Responsibility
You acknowledge that:
• You are responsible for how you use and interpret AI responses
• AI suggestions are not personalized medical advice
• You should seek professional help for serious mental health concerns
• AI is one tool among many in your wellness journey
6. Subscription and Payments
6.1 Free and Premium Plans
InnerHeal offers:
• Free Plan: Access to basic features with limited daily usage at no cost. Free users can use core features such as mood tracking, journaling, AI chat, and self-assessments with daily limits.
• Premium Plan (Monthly): Access to all features with unlimited usage, billed monthly via an auto-renewable subscription.
• Premium Plan (Annual): Access to all features with unlimited usage, billed annually via an auto-renewable subscription.
Premium features include unlimited AI insights and journaling, priority AI responses, full mood tracking and advanced reports, unlimited affirmations and mindfulness tools, exclusive quizzes and challenges, and in-app courses and growth programs.
6.2 Subscription Terms
If you subscribe to a Premium Plan:
• Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account (iOS) or Google Play account (Android) at confirmation of purchase
• Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, depending on the plan you select)
• Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current billing period at the then-current subscription rate
• Prices are displayed in the app at the time of purchase and may vary by region
• We may change subscription prices with reasonable notice; price changes will take effect at the start of the next billing period following the notice
6.3 Payment Processing
All payments for Premium subscriptions are processed exclusively through:
• Apple App Store (for iOS users) via Apple's In-App Purchase system
• Google Play Store (for Android users) via Google Play's billing system
We do not directly collect, process, or store your payment information. All payment transactions are subject to the terms and conditions of the respective app store. No other payment methods, external links, or third-party payment systems are used to unlock Premium features.
6.4 Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time. To prevent renewal, you must turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period:
• iOS: Go to Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions > InnerHeal > Cancel Subscription
• Android: Open Google Play Store > Menu > Subscriptions > InnerHeal > Cancel Subscription
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain Premium access until your current billing period expires. No partial refunds are provided for the unused portion of a billing period.
6.5 Refunds
Refund requests are handled according to:
• Apple App Store refund policies (for iOS purchases)
• Google Play Store refund policies (for Android purchases)
Please contact the respective app store directly for refund requests. You may also contact us at support@innerheal.app if you have concerns about your subscription.
6.6 Referral Program
InnerHeal offers a referral program that allows existing users to invite friends using a unique referral code. The referral program works as follows:
• Each user receives a unique referral code that can be shared with friends
• When a new user enters a valid referral code during onboarding, both the referrer and the new user earn bonus in-app points
• Referral codes award points only - they do NOT grant Premium subscription access, unlock paid features, or provide any discount on subscription plans
• Referral points are part of the in-app rewards system and are separate from the subscription system
• The referral program may be modified or discontinued at any time at our discretion
For clarity: There are no promo codes, activation codes, or coupon codes in InnerHeal. The only code a user may enter is a referral code for earning bonus points.
7. User Content
7.1 Your Content
"User Content" includes any content you create, submit, or display through the Service, including:
• Journal entries
• Mood logs
• Community posts and comments
• Profile information
• Chat conversations
7.2 Ownership
You retain ownership of your User Content. You are responsible for your User Content and any consequences of sharing it.
7.3 License to InnerHeal
By submitting User Content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to:
• Store and back up your content
• Display your content to you within the Service
• Use your content to provide and improve the Service
• Share your content as you direct (e.g., community posts)
This license:
• Continues for as long as your content exists on our Service
• Ends when you delete your content or account
• Does not give us ownership of your content
7.4 Content Restrictions
You agree not to submit User Content that:
• Is illegal, fraudulent, or deceptive
• Infringes intellectual property rights
• Contains personal information of others without consent
• Is harassing, threatening, or abusive
• Contains malware or harmful code
• Violates any applicable law or regulation
7.5 Content Removal
We reserve the right to:
• Remove content that violates these Terms
• Suspend or terminate accounts for repeated violations
• Report illegal content to appropriate authorities
• Preserve content as required by law
8. Intellectual Property
8.1 Our Intellectual Property
InnerHeal and its contents, including but not limited to:
• Software, code, and algorithms
• Text, graphics, logos, and images
• User interface design
• Audio and video content
• Trademarks and trade dress
Are owned by or licensed to InnerHeal and protected by intellectual property laws.
8.2 Restrictions
You may not:
• Copy, modify, or distribute our intellectual property
• Use our trademarks without written permission
• Create derivative works based on the Service
• Remove or alter copyright or trademark notices
8.3 Feedback
If you provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas:
• We may use them without obligation to you
• You grant us a perpetual, irrevocable license to such feedback
• We are not required to compensate you
9. Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Please review our:

By using InnerHeal, you consent to our data practices as described in these policies.

• Apple (for Sign in with Apple)
• Google (for Sign in with Google and Firebase services)
• Cloud hosting providers
• Analytics services
Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms.
11. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE
• NON-INFRINGEMENT
• ACCURACY OR COMPLETENESS
11.2 No Health Guarantees
WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:
• The Service will improve your mental health
• AI responses will be accurate or appropriate
• The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
• Defects will be corrected
• The Service is free of viruses or harmful components
11.3 Professional Advice Disclaimer
THE SERVICE DOES NOT PROVIDE MEDICAL, PSYCHOLOGICAL, OR PROFESSIONAL ADVICE. ALWAYS SEEK THE ADVICE OF QUALIFIED PROFESSIONALS FOR MENTAL HEALTH CONCERNS.
12. Limitation of Liability
12.1 Exclusion of Damages
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, INNERHEAL SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:
• Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Loss of profits, data, or goodwill
• Service interruption or computer damage
• Personal injury or emotional distress
• Any damages exceeding the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim
12.2 Basis of the Bargain
THE LIMITATIONS IN THIS SECTION REFLECT THE ALLOCATION OF RISK BETWEEN YOU AND INNERHEAL AND ARE AN ESSENTIAL BASIS OF THE BARGAIN BETWEEN US.
12.3 Jurisdictional Limitations
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless InnerHeal and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:
• Your use of the Service
• Your User Content
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any rights of another party
• Your violation of any applicable law
14. Account Termination
14.1 Termination by You
You may terminate your account at any time:
• Go to Settings > Security > Delete Account
• Follow the prompts to confirm deletion
• Your data will be deleted within 30 days
14.2 Termination by Us
We may suspend or terminate your account if you:
• Breach these Terms
• Engage in fraudulent or harmful activity
• Misuse the AI, community, or other features
• Fail to pay subscription fees (for Premium accounts)
• Request account deletion
14.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination:
• Your right to use the Service immediately ceases
• We may delete your account and data
• Provisions that should survive termination will remain in effect
• You remain responsible for any fees owed
14.4 Survival
The following sections survive termination: Intellectual Property, Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, and Governing Law.
15. Dispute Resolution
15.1 Informal Resolution
Before filing a formal claim, please contact us at support@innerheal.app. We will attempt to resolve disputes informally within 30 days.
15.2 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.
15.3 Jurisdiction
Any legal action relating to these Terms or the Service shall be brought in the courts located in India, and you consent to the jurisdiction of such courts.
15.4 Class Action Waiver
TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, YOU AGREE TO RESOLVE DISPUTES ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS AND WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE IN CLASS ACTIONS.
16. Changes to Terms
16.1 Modifications
We may modify these Terms at any time. When we make significant changes:
• We will update the "Last Updated" date
• We will notify you through the app or email
• We may require you to accept the new Terms to continue using the Service
16.2 Continued Use
Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
16.3 Rejection
If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Service and delete your account.
17. General Provisions
17.1 Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and AI/ML Data Sharing Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and InnerHeal regarding the Service.
17.2 Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
17.3 Waiver
Our failure to enforce any provision does not waive our right to enforce it later.
17.4 Assignment
You may not assign your rights under these Terms. We may assign our rights without restriction.
17.5 No Agency
Nothing in these Terms creates an agency, partnership, or joint venture between you and InnerHeal.
17.6 Headings
Section headings are for convenience only and have no legal effect.
17.7 Language
These Terms are written in English. Translations are for convenience only; the English version controls.
